BEIRUT — The Energy Ministry announced another sharp decrease in fuel prices Tuesday morning, one day after a sudden gain in the value of the Lebanese lira on the parallel market.
Here are the new prices:
• Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL653,000, down by LL46,000
• Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL668,000, down by LL47,000
• Twenty liters of diesel: LL789,000, down by LL56,000
• Kiloliter of fuel oil (used to supply private generators), priced at $1,078,29 (down by $11,71)
The price of the domestic gas cylinder (LL415,000 on Monday) was not announced on Tuesday.
