BEIRUT — Seven people were injured Monday morning when a car hit them head-on after its brakes failed, in the town of Muhammara, at the southern entrance of Akkar in North Lebanon, our correspondent in the region reports.
The vehicle crashed into a coffee cart where several people were gathered. The seven injured people were treated on the spot by the Red Cross before being hospitalized.
