BEIRUT — The Civil Defense said Friday that members of its Maritime Rescue Unit are treating an oil spill that resulted from a fractured pipe belonging to the Zouk Mosbeh Thermal Power Plant north of Beirut, our correspondent in the area reported.
Rescue teams rushed to contain the spill using special barriers, according to the correspondent.
