BEIRUT — After a notable price hike on Thursday, gasoline and diesel prices went down on Friday in Lebanon, while gas prices increased once again. The Ministry of Energy announced new prices on Friday.
Here's what we know:
- Twenty liters of 95-octane gasoline now cost LL668,000, down by LL14,000
- Twenty liters of 98-octane gasoline now cost LL685,000, down by LL13,000
- Twenty liters of diesel now cost LL807,000, down by LL26,000
- A cylinder of gas is now LL390,000, up by LL2,000
- The price of one kiloliter of fuel (mainly used for electric generators and priced in dollars) decreased by about $18 to become $1,000.47.
