BEIRUT — A fire broke out Friday afternoon in forests of pine and fruit trees near the village of Saysouq, in Akkar, North Lebanon, at a time when the country is experiencing warm temperatures during its summer season, L’Orient Today’s correspondent in North Lebanon reported.

Here’s what we know:

    • According to L’Orient Today’s correspondent, the Civil Defense, assisted by activists and residents of the village, deployed to put out the fire, which has been extinguished.
