Here's what we know:
• The incident occurred as the patrol was conducting a search for suspects. One suspect was killed and another injured, but no soldiers were injured in the shooting, the army reported via Twitter.
• The district of al-Sharawneh, as well as the Bekaa, where non-state arms are widely prevalent, is often the scene of bloody clashes, sometimes involving the Lebanese Army.
