BEIRUT — Incumbent Najib Mikati, who was assigned as the prime minister-designate on Thursday after receiving a plurality of votes, is now tasked with forming the next government and will be carrying out consultations, starting Monday at the Parliament where he will be meeting with parliamentary blocs and members of Parliament according to the following program, the state-run National News Agency reported.

Here's what we know:

On Monday, Mikati will be meeting with various parliamentary blocs and MPs

    • Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri, at 1:30 p.m.

    • Deputy Speaker of Parliament Elias Bou Saab, at 1:50 p.m.

    • The Amal Movement’s Development and Liberation Bloc, at 2:10 p.m.

    • The Strong Lebanon bloc, at 3 p.m.

    • The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, at 3:20 p.m.

    • Opposition MPs, at 3:40 p.m.

    • The Democratic Gathering bloc, at 4 p.m.

    • The Independent National Bloc, at 4:40 p.m.

    • The Kataeb Representatives Bloc, at 5 p.m.

    • The Homeland Project bloc, at 5:40 p.m.

    • The Projects Association bloc, at 6 p.m.
