BEIRUT — An earthquake at sea, between Lebanon and Cyprus, was recorded Friday at dawn, the state-run National News Agency reported, adding that the tremor caused no damage.

• According to the Bhannes National Center for Geophysical Research, the earthquake, measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale, occurred at 4:40 a.m. Its epicenter was identified 160 km off the Lebanese coast.
