BEIRUT — Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Foreign Affairs Minister of Iran, told Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib that Tehran was ready to provide Lebanon with gasoline and flour, because "it is very important to stand with the country in these difficult circumstances,” he said.

• Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib had a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Friday, the National News Agency reported. The head of Iranian diplomacy reiterated during this call that his country was ready to aid Lebanon, during an unprecedented socioeconomic crisis.
• Last September, Hezbollah imported several shipments of fuel from Iran.
• Amir-Abdollahian welcomed the return of the ambassadors of the Gulf countries to Lebanon, following a diplomatic crisis last October when controversial remarks were made by Lebanon’s former Information Minister George Kurdahi, on Saudi Arabia’s role in the war in Yemen.
