Water supply cut off for three days near the Kesrouan coast

BEIRUT — Water will be cut for three days starting Friday at noon from Kesrouan coast, due to a malfunction in the Maameltein supply line, which provides the area with water, the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment announced this morning in a press release.

Here’s what we know:

    • This breakdown “will unfortunately force the running water to be cut off on the Kesrouan coast for 72 hours starting Friday at noon to make the necessary repairs,” specified the press release.

    • In the midst of an economic crisis, Lebanon is experiencing severe deteriorations in its public infrastructure and problems with maintenance.
