BEIRUT— Two children from Akkar died after a fire ravaged their parents' makeshift home in Batroun Friday, reports L’Orent Today’s Batroun correspondent.
Here’s what we know:
• The victims are a brother and sister aged four and eight respectively. The fire was caused by a short circuit in the improvised corrugated metal shed that served as the family’s house.
• The children’s bodies were transferred to Batroun Hospital. A police investigation is underway.
