BEIRUT – Industry Minister George Bouchikian received the Ambassador of the United States of America to Lebanon Dorothy Shea, and discussed economic relations between the two countries and ways to promote and develop them. The two discussed enhancing cooperation and partnership along with opening American markets to Lebanese industrial products.
Here’s what we know:
• Also discussed was the training of Lebanese industrialists to adhere to and apply American standards and specifications.
• Bouchikian also met Romanian Ambassador Radio Mardari and discussed the development of relations between the two countries.
• Bouchikian will leave tomorrow afternoon for Baghdad to open the second Iraqi-Lebanese Business Conference, which is sponsored by the Industry Ministry with the participation of the Iraqi government and private sector officials in both countries.
