BEIRUT — A young man died Sunday as a result of injuries sustained when a fuel tank exploded in North Lebanon last month, L’Orient Today’s correspondent in the region reported.
Here’s what we know:
• Alaeddine Fayad died Sunday morning after being injured in the Nov. 27 blast in the town of Tal Hayat in Akkar. The fuel tank had exploded following welding work carried out nearby. Two people were injured by the blast.
• In August, more than 30 people were killed and dozens more injured in the Akkar town of Tleil when a fuel tank exploded.
