BEIRUT — Six detainees — two Lebanese, three Syrians and a Palestinian — escaped on Saturday from the Dahr al-Baidar police station in the Bekaa, our sister publication L’Orient-Le Jour reported.
Here's what we know:
• According to L'Orient-Le Jour, four of the six had been arrested for theft, one for attempted murder and the one in relation to drug trafficking, theft and terrorism.
• Later Saturday evening, four of the six escapees were rearrested after security forces chased them to nearby bushes, the state-run National News Agency reported.
