The defense counsel for Salim Ayyash, a Hezbollah operative found guilty in absentia for his part in the 2005 assassination of former Premier Rafik Hariri, will not be allowed to appeal his trial and sentencing, the Appeals Chamber of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon has ruled.
