Some 300 people gathered last Sunday at Paris's Place du Panthéon to protest both against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the war waged by Israel and the United States against Iran. The demonstration was organized by four left-wing groups: the Roja, Iran Justice, Azadi 4 Iran and AVA collectives. The crowd held placards reading “neither shah nor mullahs” and repeatedly chanted, “woman, life, freedom.” The gathering came just 10 days after the commemoration of Mahsa Amini’s death.
