Hezbollah arsenal in Ras al-Nabeh: Case in hands of military investigating judge
According to the preliminary investigation by the prosecutor's office, the weapons were allegedly stored for protection against possible hostile acts against the party.
The case involving the stockpile of weapons seized on July 29 in the Ras al-Nabeh district of Beirut is now in the hands of the first military investigating judge, Ghada Abu Alwan. On Wednesday, the government commissioner at the Military Tribunal, Claude Ghanem, transmitted the case to her after initiating proceedings against a Hezbollah supporter (H.J.), in whose home the arsenal was discovered, as well as against three of his associates who are currently on the run.The four individuals are all being prosecuted for acquisition, possession and storage of weapons.
