U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday he will ask Russian President Vladimir Putin if Russian satellites are helping Tehran direct strikes in Middle East.

"I'll ask Putin about it. We'll find out," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, along with Ukrainian and Western intelligence reports, has recently accused Russia of providing Iran with satellite imagery and intelligence to help it target U.S. military bases.

The U.S. war against Iran began on Feb. 28. Although a cease-fire led to negotiations and a preliminary agreement, tensions have flared again after Iran's Revolutionary Guards continued attacking vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

The U.S. military carried out strikes against Iran for more than 13 days before halting operations on President Donald Trump's orders last Friday. Since the conflict began, Iran has focused its retaliatory attacks on neighboring Gulf states that host U.S. military bases
