On Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump again insisted that his Syrian counterpart, Ahmad al-Sharaa, would do a "very good" and "precise" job against Hezbollah, yet another statement of the kind. This growing insistence comes at a time when Damascus keeps reiterating it does not wish for any kind of intervention in Lebanon.
