The talks that were supposed to begin between Iranian and U.S. officials in Switzerland on Friday, June 19, have been postponed with no date set for resumption, according to an announcement from Bern. Vice President JD Vance and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif — the main mediator between the two countries — also withdrew from attending. The White House cited logistical reasons, while other officials pointed to the situation in Lebanon.
