Her watercolors are a reflection of her personality: soft, delicate and discreet. Maria Magro, wife of the French ambassador, has voluntarily accompanied her husband on his various diplomatic missions, the most recent of which brought them to Lebanon. For the watercolorist, preserving the couple — and thus the family — is paramount, in keeping with the traditions of her native country, Portugal. Even though, deep down, she knows she has had to give up her own dreams, it is a choice she fully embraces and whose advantages she recognizes.From city to city, a life on the sidelinesFor Magro, painting goes hand in hand with travel.
