Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam issued a circular on Monday ordering the closure of public administrations, public institutions and municipalities for the Eid al-Adha holiday.
"On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, all public administrations, public institutions and municipalities will be closed from Wednesday, May 27, through Friday, May 29, inclusive," the circular said.
Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, is a major Muslim holiday marking the end of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, one of the five pillars of Islam.
