The Israeli army dropped leaflets Saturday morning over the Jnah neighborhood in Beirut's southern suburbs, causing damage to an apartment in the area.
"Pay attention. Only in this paper will you read the truth. Hezbollah is turning your homes into terrorist hideouts," one of the leaflets read, according to a photo taken by our on-site journalist Mohammad Yassine. The explosion of a missile caused damage to the apartment where it landed.

This is not the first time the Israeli army has dropped leaflets over the capital. On March 13, Israeli aircraft dropped thousands of leaflets over Beirut, their release accompanied by a noise similar to an explosion. "Lebanon's (fate) is up to your decision and no one else's." QR codes also appeared on those leaflets.
The dropping of leaflets by the Israeli army is part of a psychological warfare strategy aimed at influencing the morale and behavior of civilian populations. This type of tactic has already been used by Israel during previous conflicts in Lebanon and Gaza.
