Why Hezbollah now rarely shares information on deaths in its ranks

A few days ago, Israel announced it had killed nearly 200 Hezbollah fighters since the escalation on March 2. These numbers are hard to verify, as the group rarely shares information about its losses, unlike at the beginning of the 2024 war, when it almost always posted obituaries announcing the deaths of its "martyrs on the road to Jerusalem," along with photos in military uniform.Hezbollah often organized public funerals attended by civilians and party members.
