The Directorate General of Lebanese General Security (GS) warned on Monday against "the risks associated with the use" of several applications or games affiliated with Israel, in order to "protect the personal data and privacy" of Lebanese citizens.
"As part of the technical monitoring of the activity of certain suspicious applications, it was found that there is an application called 'Room and a Half,' which is used by a number of Lebanese and is available on app stores for phones running on iOS and Android systems. This application was developed by the team at the Israeli company 'Party Poopers,' based in Tel Aviv and specialized in developing software for mobile devices," the GS statement said.
The application "Room and a Half 2" was also updated on Nov. 25, 2025, and a Hebrew-language version is available, the statement continued.
GS listed other applications belonging to the Israeli company "Party Poopers: Room and a Half Survivor," "Arcade Heaven," "Kitchen Swipe," "Room and a Half," "Room and a Half 2," "Roadbusters – Mini Games Party," and "Redgunnig Hoo."
This warning comes a day after a rocket attack claimed overnight by Hezbollah targeting Haifa, in northern Israel, presented as a response to the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Israeli strikes conducted Saturday on Tehran.
In retaliation, the Israeli army carried out airstrikes that killed 31 and wounded 149 in the southern suburbs of Beirut and southern Lebanon, according to a provisional toll from the Health Ministry.
Twenty people were killed, and 91 were injured in the southern suburbs, while 11 were killed and 58 were injured in southern Lebanon.
