The governmental hospital of Mais al-Jabal (Marjayoun district) was fully evacuated of its staff after doctors and employees received threats from the Israeli army on their phones, the head of the local municipal council confirmed to our correspondent.
He added that all the village residents had already left, fearing Israeli strikes.
The Israeli army has been targeting southern Lebanon since Monday morning with dozens of strikes across all districts.
South Lebanon does not appear to be the only area in Israel's crosshairs: In Koura in North Lebanon, residents of the villages of Bziza and Rasmiska received calls from presumed Israeli interlocutors asking them to evacuate their homes, our correspondent in the region reports.
Lebanese security forces are following up with these individuals.
