BEIRUT — The driver of a university bus lost control of his vehicle in the Kfar Roummane roundabout in the southern city of Nabatieh due to brake failure on Monday morning, damaging four cars before breaking into the garden in the middle of the roundabout, the state-run National News Agency reported.
No injuries were reported, according to preliminary information. The bus driver, transporting university students, attempted to avoid colliding with cars and pedestrians, steering the bus toward a concrete barrier before it stopped inside the circular garden at the center of the roundabout.
Security forces immediately arrived at the scene and worked to manage the heavy traffic congestion that followed the incident.
