A major fire broke out Thursday morning at the "Colonel Beer" restaurant, located on a beach in Batroun, North Lebanon, according to our correspondent. The blaze destroyed the entire restaurant building, which was mainly constructed of wood, before being extinguished by Civil Defense. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
This restaurant is part of a complex that also includes a brewery and a beach club.
