Kurdish authorities said in a statement that they imposed a curfew on Saturday in Raqqa province, which they control in northern Syria, after government forces threatened to bomb Kurdish positions in the region.
After government forces took control on Saturday of several northern Syrian localities evacuated by Kurdish forces under pressure, the Syrian army issued a statement calling on civilians to stay away from military sites in Raqqa province, which it said it intended to target.
