More than a year after the November 2024 cease-fire between Hezbollah and Israel, and as the threat of a new Israeli offensive in Lebanon has yet to be ruled out, reconstruction in the devastated regions of southern Lebanon and the Bekaa is struggling to move forward.The party, financially drained by the conflict, is under mounting pressure. It continues to come under near daily targeted strikes in the southern and the Bekaa and lost its Syrian ally following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime in December 2024.To make matters worse, it is now holding its breath as its Iranian patron is shaken by a wave of protests met with a bloody crackdown, putting the clerical regime at risk.
