In the shadow of the ongoing diplomatic summit in Doha, new Israeli attacks on Saturday morning killed at least four people in the northern Gaza Strip, despite the cease-fire.
According to sources at al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, cited by Al Jazeera, at least three people were killed and several others wounded by Israeli fire in Beit Lahia in the north.
In the nearby town of Jabalia, another person was shot dead in a separate incident, the Qatari media outlet added.
Additionally, a source at al-Maqassed Hospital reported that another individual was seriously injured during an Israeli bombing in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
According to the latest figures published Thursday by the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 366 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli army since the cease-fire agreement took effect on Oct. 10, with 938 wounded and 619 bodies of missing persons recovered from the rubble.
This brings the total toll of the Israeli offensive against Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, to at least 70,125 killed and 171,015 wounded.
