This is a tragic story of missed loves, caught in the complexity of personal ambitions. It's the story of a mother, Anna Duval, an elusive, free-spirited and daring photojournalist, who accidentally gives birth to Eva at the end of the 1980s, before abandoning her in an orphanage.The play "The Last Cedar of Lebanon" by Aïda Asgharzadeh, directed by Nikola Carton at the Théâtre de l’Œuvre in Paris, tells of the anger of this abandoned child, who becomes a resident of a juvenile detention center in Mont de Marsan as a teenager, as well as her struggles and her inability to establish healthy relationships with those around her.The young actress playing her, Maëlis Adalle, succeeds in conveying with remarkable intensity the rage and psychological knots caused by abandonment, as she gradually discovers her mother's audio...
