Israel blackmails Lebanon: Six impossible conditions or war

The situation does not look good. All the signals Lebanon is receiving indicate that Israel has decided to escalate. Israeli forces carried out military exercises a few days ago, and continue to do daily ground combat training in terrain similar to that in Lebanon.The Israeli opposition, locked in constant battle with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was briefed on army and intelligence reports regarding preparations for a military operation against Hezbollah. These reports claimed, among other things, that Hezbollah is rebuilding its forces and restoring its military capabilities.These same reports are being shared with the Americans, whom Israel is trying to convince to give it approval for launching the operation. Why are these made out to be The Impossible Six? Some are obviously doable, one or two will take time. to declare that it can't be done, so they will not even try, is betraying either: a total lack of will, or else, resistance. to try all six and fail would be good enough to achieve peace… they be demonstrating good will by doing their best! And what would be the downside? "It'll very likely be difficult... grizzle, grizzle..." But you get stability and peace, and get rid of the unpredictability of Hezbollah running part of the country.

  • Why are these made out to be The Impossible Six? Some are obviously doable, one or two will take time. to declare that it can't be done, so they will not even try, is betraying either: a total lack of will, or else, resistance. to try all six and fail would be good enough to achieve peace… they be demonstrating good will by doing their best! And what would be the downside? "It'll very likely be difficult... grizzle, grizzle..." But you get stability and peace, and get rid of the unpredictability of Hezbollah running part of the country.
