While Israel conducted intense strikes on Tehran with the official aim of destroying Iran’s nuclear program, the Israeli army targeted the notorious Evin prison on three occasions. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz also claimed on June 23 a symbolic strike aimed at "Iran's oppression machine."
