France condemns 'Israeli fire' that caused 'several dozen deaths and injuries' near aid center

France condemned on Tuesday the "Israeli fire that hit" during the night "civilians gathered around an aid distribution center in Gaza, causing several dozen deaths and injuries," according to a statement from the spokesperson for the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

According to the Civil Defense of the Gaza Strip, at least 21 people were killed and 150 injured after shots fired by Israeli soldiers at "gatherings of citizens waiting for aid" between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. (11 p.m. GMT and 3 a.m. GMT) near the Netzarim junction in the center of the Gaza Strip. In total, the Civil Defense announced that 46 people waiting for aid in two separate centers had been killed on Tuesday.
