Israel "held back" from further striking Iran on Tuesday after a call between U.S. President Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister's office announced.
Israel and Iran accused each other Tuesday morning of violating the cease-fire announced by Trump after 12 days of war, according to a statement from Netanyahu's office. The cease-fire was to take effect at 7 a.m. (5 a.m. GMT), but Iran violated it twice by firing missiles at Israel, the text adds.
In retaliation, Israel "destroyed a radar installation near Tehran," and, "following the conversation between [Trump and] Netanyahu, Israel refrained from further strikes," the prime minister's office indicated.
