BEIRUT — Emmanuel Macron arrived Sunday in Greenland where he is to express a message of "solidarity" for this autonomous territory of Denmark coveted by Donald Trump, AFP journalists observed.
The French president is the first foreign head of state to set foot on this territory, four times the size of France and covered by 80% ice, since Trump's annexation threats.
