Israeli drones dropped grenades on Ras al-Naqoura (Sour district), and Ramieh (Bint Jbeil district), L'Orient Today's correspondent in the South reported.
Since a cease-fire began between Hezbollah and Israel on Nov. 27, 2024, Hezbollah only attacked Israel once, despite daily Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon, and several attacks on the southern suburbs of Beirut, most recently on Thursday.
At least eight separate strikes — some involving multiple missiles — targeted on Thursday evening what Israel claimed were “underground infrastructure used to manufacture Hezbollah drones.” The Israeli army had issued an evacuation order about an hour before the strikes, causing panic in the neighborhoods of Burj al-Barajneh, Haret Hreik and Hadath in Beirut's southern suburbs, as residents marked the beginning of the Eid al-Adha holiday. The strikes left an undetermined number of people injured, with several hospitals in the area reporting "several" casualties to L'Orient Today.
