Lebanese comedian Coco Makmak renamed the national airline Middle East Airlines (MEA) as "Haramiyeh Airlines" ["Thieves Airlines"] in one of her latest videos, saying the prices for flights are exorbitant. The comedian joins many voices rising against the Lebanese airline, some of which, like the Franco-Lebanese Coordination Committee based in Paris, initiated a petition "To Lower MEA Ticket Prices" that benefits "a quasi-monopoly" and "hampers the mobility of an entire population," according to the text.
