Arnaud Le Gall, a member of the French left-wing electoral alliance New Popular Front since 2022, responsible for its international program, also heads the France-Lebanon committee in the French Parliament, known as the National Assembly. According to him, this body is tasked with “parliamentary diplomacy,” complementing “government diplomacy,” aiming to “maintain an understanding of the political situation in Lebanon.”From June 2 to 5, the MP is visiting Beirut with a delegation from the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly.
