Gaza's Health Ministry announced in its latest report that at least 54,084 Palestinians have been killed in the enclave since the start of the Israeli offensive, along with approximately 123,308 injured and thousands missing.
The Ministry added that 28 bodies and 179 injured have arrived at Gaza hospitals in the last 24 hours, while at least eight people were killed in an Israeli attack Wednesday morning on the home of journalist Oussama al-Arbid in the north of the enclave.
This brings the human toll in Gaza since the resumption of the Israeli offensive on March 18, breaking the cease-fire unilaterally. The Israeli military has killed 3,924 Palestinians and injured 11,267 more since violating the cease-fire agreement on March 18.
Furthermore, the Ministry stated that 22 out of the 38 existing hospitals in Gaza are out of service, while those that continue to operate are facing a “catastrophic” shortage of medical supplies.
