The Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli strike on "a densely populated area in the southern suburbs of Beirut, which caused panic among civilians and material damage." The ministry called on "the countries sponsoring the truce agreement to pressure Israel to end its repeated attacks and violations of Resolution 1701, which jeopardize regional peace and security and undermine the Lebanese state's efforts to preserve its national sovereignty."
"The ministry will continue its contacts with brotherly and friendly countries to put an end to these violations and for Israel to withdraw from all Lebanese regions and all the points it still occupies," added the Foreign Ministry.
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned Israel's continued "terrorization of people in their homes, while they want to return to normal life," according to a statement released on X by the Grand Serail. Salam called on the "states sponsoring the security agreement for the cessation of hostilities to take steps to end these attacks and accelerate Israel's complete withdrawal from Lebanese territory."
Salam also stated that "Lebanon fully adheres to the provisions of Resolution 1701 and the agreement on security arrangements, and that the Lebanese army continues its work and expands its deployment in the south and in all Lebanese territories in order to extend the authority of the State and ensure that it is the sole holder of weapons."

Commenting on the strike on the warehouse in Hadath, the Israeli army's Arabic-language spokesperson explained that "measures were taken to avoid harming civilians, including issuing a prior warning to residents and using precision munitions."
Regarding the targeted location, he alleged that it was an "infrastructure used for the storage of precision missiles belonging to ... Hezbollah."
"The storage of missiles in this infrastructure constitutes a flagrant violation of the agreements between Israel and Lebanon as well as a threat to the State of Israel and its citizens," he said. Hezbollah would then have "stored missiles inside a building located in the heart of the Lebanese civilian population."
Last December, L'Orient Today analyzed satellite data cross-referenced with Israeli military evacuation notices and revealed that these announcements may have violated international law.
