Israeli settlers carried out 860 attacks against Palestinians and their properties in the occupied West Bank during the first three months of 2025, according to data released by the Palestinian Authority for the Resistance of the Wall and Settlements (PWSA) as reported by the Qatari channel Al-Jazeera.
According to the institution, which is dependent on the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah, these attacks included “incursions into Palestinian towns and communities, attacks on property, and bulldozer destruction of land.”
New attacks were recorded on Saturday, according to the channel’s reports. Two young Palestinians were arrested following a settler incursion in the town of Kobar, north of Ramallah, while several residents of Khirbet Joura al-Kheil, northeast of Hebron, were assaulted by other Israeli individuals in the south of the occupied West Bank.
At the same time, other settlers cut water lines of a Palestinian Bedouin community north of Jericho city, Al-Jazeera also reported.
Furthermore, Israeli forces stormed a house in the town of Anin, west of Jenin, and turned it into a military position. Subsequently, the troops stormed the Zahra neighborhood, forcing its residents to evacuate immediately and arresting young men, including one who was injured.
These incidents occur as the repression campaign led by settlers and Israeli troops intensifies in the occupied territories, which are subjected to a large-scale Israeli military operation called “Iron Wall.”
Since the beginning of the Gaza war, more than 956 Palestinians have been killed and about 7,000 others injured in the West Bank, according to Palestinian data. In parallel, nearly 16,400 arrests have been recorded.
