Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump have "agreed" to a second meeting on Saturday, on the sidelines of Pope Francis's funeral, following an initial "15-minute" exchange in St. Peter's Basilica that was described as "constructive" on Telegram by the Ukrainian president's right-hand man, Andriy Yermak.
"The leaders agreed to continue their discussions today. The teams are working on organizing the follow-up meeting," the Ukrainian president's spokesperson, Sergiy Nikiforov, told reporters. The Ukrainian presidency published photos of Zelensky and Trump seated one-on-one and also exchanging views with French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in a group of four.
