The Israeli Supreme Court suspended its public hearing on Tuesday morning regarding the dismissal of the head of the Internal Security Agency (Shin Bet) following multiple disruptions in the assembly.

“No jurisdiction in the world functions this way,” said Judge Yitzhak Amit, president of the Court, ordering the suspension of the hearing only about half an hour after its commencement, due to numerous altercations and invectives in the room between government supporters and opponents.
