Lebanese Foreign Minister Joe Rajji and Energy Minister Joe Saddi submitted their asset and interest declarations to the National Anti-Corruption Commission on Friday, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported.

President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Information Minister Paul Morcos had already submitted their declarations to the commission, which was established under Law No. 175 on May 8, 2020, but only formed in late January 2022.

The commission is responsible for recording asset and wealth declarations from officials and public employees. The law requires anyone holding a public office from the fourth category up to the president to submit a declaration shortly after taking office. Failure to comply results in automatic resignation and other legal consequences.
