During his fifth series of interrogations that began on Feb. 7, the investigative judge at the Court of Justice, Tarek Bitar, questioned two former army officers on Friday as part of his investigation into the double explosion that occurred at the Beirut port on Aug. 4, 2020. They were the former head of intelligence, Edmond Fadel, and the former head of port intelligence, Marwan Eid, who was responsible for anti-smuggling operations.
