Since the arrest of Saad Hariri in Saudi Arabia in 2017, up to the election of Joseph Aoun last week, you have never abandoned Lebanon. What explains this constant commitment to a country that is not larger than a region in France and does not represent a major strategic issue on the international scene?First, because I love it and because I love the men and women who live there, but who have also spread around the world. And also because there is a unique history between France and Lebanon, and France believes it has a particular responsibility towards this country.
