Lebanese Army takes over Palestinian faction site in Bekaa for third day in a row

BEIRUT — The Lebanese Army on Monday took over a site controlled by an armed Palestinian faction in the outskirts of the village of Qousaya, located in the Bekaa, according to local sources of our correspondent in the region.

Our corresponds reports that members of the Lebanese Army's 6th Intervention Regiment, along with the army's Intelligence Directorate, took over the site that belonged to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command in Qousaya. 

Qousaya is located near Hechmech, where positions held by Palestinian factions were retaken by the Lebanese Army over the weekend.

It is also situated three kilometers from the Syrian border. This is the third day in a row that the army takes control of sites that belonged to this faction in the Bekaa.
