A projectile – a missile according to reports and a shell according to photos – crashed without exploding early Tuesday on a house in Qleiat in Akkar in North Lebanon, reported L'Orient Today's correspondent.
The projectile fell in the morning around 2 a.m., while Israeli warplanes were flying over the area, probably to carry out strikes in Syria. The incident did not cause any casualties, but caused significant damage to the building hit, after passing through three floors. The building housed a family.
A patrol of the army and security forces went to the scene, awaiting the arrival of the military expert responsible for inspecting the area and defusing the projectile.
